Hi, I have a 1984 Ford Ranger II, 2.8L V6 Engine, and within the last 6 month have replaced the alternator, distributor cap and rotor, and battery. This morning she stalled on my way into work, as I was parking and would not restart. She cranks, but does not start. She was running perfectly from March through September of last year. I parked her in storage for a few months and just did the replacement of the distributor cap and rotor. The alternator was done back in June.

Damn, the page cut off the rest of my question. She stalled this morning on my way into work, and will not turn over. There is power, as the dashboard will light when I turn on the lights, but she won;t start.

OK, usual things that will have to be checked are spark, fuel pressure and injection pulse also a scan for any unresolved fault codes will help, can you do this?

I'll have to get it to a mechanic later today. I assume fuel pressure is okay, as the truck was drivable for well over two hours yesterday and today. Thanks for the pointers!

Ok, got it running again, replaced the ignition coil, I checked under the hood just now, the wire coming from the distributor cap had disconnected, likely over a speed bump I hit too fast. I am taking it to a mechanic in a bit, to get the spark plugs and wires done. Thanks!!!
