Ford F-150 Engine Problem
Ford f-150 302 will two quarts of oil cause the engine to bad. it showed no signs of smoking.I took it to be repaired and the mechanic replaced the distributor. When I drove off it made a funny noise and stopped on me. Because it had two quarts in it he said the engine was gone .Is this true?

well when ever i work on a car i always check the oil. but yes in answer to your question it probably is shot. you need more than two qts of oil to run an engine. it should be checked regularly every other fill up is good.
