I have a 84 chevy k-10 4x4 truck with the 350 and auto trans with overdrive. It does not shift gears untill rpms are real high but it does shift into all gears just have to let rpms get way to high. I have replaced the trans filter and fluid so looking for any help you may have. Thanks

There should be a TVI cable running from the throttle body to the transmission that tells the transmission how much throttle is applied. It may be stuck in the open position.
