How do I switch out cams on an 84 chevy short wheel base that has a 350 small block engine?

You need to take apart the top of the engine, remove rockers, push rods, lifters, then remove the timing chain cover, chain. To access the camshaft. It is a very involved job. I recommend getting a good repair manual.
