I have replaced the spark plugs, rebiult the carburator, changed the fuel and air filter, changed the oil, took off the catalytic converter, new exhaust, changed the base gasket on the carb. The truck idols perfect but when I go down the road the truck bogs down and cuts off around 35 mph, I cant figure out what im missing

Check the fuel pressure with a fuel gauge designed for your fuel system-Possible problem with the main metering circuit or the power valve on the Carby-Sometimes could be a weak ignition coil-Let me know what you find

It's a varijet those werenothing pbut problems. You will or may have to carefully go over it again and reset to what ever specs they gave you.

You sould have to look around, you may have to get an adapter to fit, iwould imagine going to an auto parts store and see if they ahve anything. A weber progressive two barrel is a good carb, but no sure you can adapt it to that.
