I have a 1983 dodge d150 with a 2bbl carb 318 it dies every time I stop I suspect a vacuum leak bit not sure as far as trouble shooting goes I started by blocking the carb partially and the idle speeds up when I do this. So I disconnected the vacuum line that connects to the brake booster and plugged the vacuum tree that it connected to on top of the back of the intake manifold and it still does it. I then disconnected the egr valve and blocked the line because the valve was not closing but still doing it. I have tried propane and carb cleaner still no conclusion
