HOW TO WIRE A TOGGLE SWITCH AND PUSH BUTTON SWITCH TO TURN ON AND OFF ?

My ignition is really messed up and i use the rod on the side of the steering column to start and turn off my truck. I had a good idea on maybe i can wire a push start and toggle on and off switch to turn the truck off. how can i do this? will everything still come on? 1983 chevy silverado 1500. tilt steering column with automatic.

Well the thing is i dont have the money to get it replaced right now and this is going to be temporary for now. i will get it rebuilt when i get enough money.
