Ok i got a 82 pickup 1.7 liter gas in i got a new fuel filter, fuel pump, in fuel injectors, in distributor cap in new spark plugs well it will start for about 3 seconds then shut off then i tried to start it in push the gas in it will j

it will start for 3 seconds then it will shut off then i tried starting in pushing the gas then it just shuts off

Make sure you have a good hot blue snapping spark and the fuel pressure is within spec.

those have mechanical injection fuel distributor. and that vehicle is OLD! issue could be in the distributor unit or the air plate assembly.

you can pull injector and operate airplate by hand and watch it spray.

you can hotwire pump for continuous operation to make it easier.
