82 stalls and dies when i give it gas
2.5L singelport tbi I have done a tune up (cap,rotor,plugs,wires,fuel filter, coil it revs up fine if i push the gas slow but if I try to drive it or gas push the gas pedal quick it backfires and dies

those had a problem with the distributors after a while. the reluctor inside cracks and makes the car drive screwy . but scan for codes as well. they also had a tendency to crack heads and blocks as well as vacuum leaks at intakes.
