Vauxhall Corsa Fuel pump Problem
The fuel pump seems very noisy and the car can suddenly loose power I have changed the pump but the noise is still there and the engine light is on, on the dash?

What engine light is it? 1981 with fuel injection? Not many models that I know of.
If fuel pump is not installed correctly, it would eminate loud noises and the vibration is not dampened. Pressure leak in system would cause the fuel pump to work harder too.
