1981 Mazda 121 Repair Question

Car wont start after it shut down
I have a 1981 mazda rx7 i was driving down the freeway and it stalled on me i tryd starting it back up but all it did was clicking like if starter was bad so i replaced starter n its still not starting just clicking

Have you checked the battery and tried a jump start? If the fails, you could ahve a seized engine.
If a jump start works, you would need to check the charging system.
Don't replace the battery if it is weak. It could be the alternator that is faulty and not recharging the battery and providing sufficient current for the vehicle till the battery drains off and the engine stalled.
