Toyota Truck Engine Problem
Can the valves be adjusted on a 20R engine? If so then how exactly There is a knocking, like tapping under the valve cover and also my plugs are fouled.I intend to put new plugs in and also dist. cap and rotor and also adjust valves if can be done.

I had to reasearch it online and found it to be .007" on the intake and .011" on the exhaust. Check the clearance of all the rockers arms, tappets, first to see if this is close to the setting just to make sure. There is very little information on the engine. You might benefit greatly from getting a Haynes Manual for the engine/truck.
