Can a rear disc brake be installed in the front wheel? it is a rear wheel drive car though.. thanks!

The front brakes are drum brakes and I want to convert it to disc brakes, unfortunately there is only rear disc brakes available. Can it still be modified to fit in the front wheel?

I'm not sure where you live but front disc brakes have been mandated by law in the US since around 1971. You should be able to buy the correct ones.
