Mercedes Benz 450sl Black smoke Problem
My 1980 450sl has sit in the garage for about two years and I try to start it once a month however the last few times I have driven it, it starts easy but it won't rev past 3000 And hard to get up to speed when I try to excelerate I blow black smoke like its running way rich when I stop for a light the engin stops and is hard to re start can anyone enlighten me as to the problem?

check that the cold start injector is not leaking fuel.
