Im at a stop light, light turns green, I accelerate and then car makes a tug and a popping sound under the hood. What can it be?

Yea its backfiring. Its a basic 245. 6 in line motor. Checked spark plugs and one was kinda loose. Fixed it but still backfiring at times when accelerating
