Chevrolet Nova Backfire Problem
Im at a stop light, light turns green, i accelerate and then car makes a tug and a popping sound under the hood. what can it be?

a little more info. what motor??? recent work????

yea its backfiring. Its a basic 245....... 6 in line motor. Checked spark plugs and one was kinda loose. fixed it but still backfiring at times when accelerating
