I have a 350 engine. Eddle Broke Carb and manafold. I was experiencing back firing as I accelerate, so I changed all spark plugs and re shot the timing. Car is still back firing. What else should I check?

Backfiring is caused when fuel ignites at the wrong time. Check the firing order, distributor cap, coil and timing.

When fuel ignites at the wrong time? Are you saying that to much fuel is entering the Carb? Maybe I should minimize the amount of pressure entering the Carb?

Im running a Holley Fuel pump, also I have a gauge on that fuel line running to the Carb, what do you think the amount of pressure should be? Its around 5 1/2-6 now.

What? How did you get that from what I said?

Ignites at the wrong time. Meaning timing, crossfiring or fuel that didn't ignite on the proper ignition cycle.
