Plymouth Duster Blown head gasket Problem

I am trying tuneup my 1974 plymouth gold duster, slant 6 engine, 225. What is your suggested air/fuel mixture ratio. I am having trouble getting any power going uphill and starts to overheat.

Please help. I have it set at 1 degree BTDC.

i would move it to 10.

make sure the points are at .018 and the dwell at 30.

other than that, it could be a bad cat. 74 should have one.

the overheating may be a bad t stat, clogged rad or blown head gasket which would also explain the no power
