Chevrolet Corvette Fuel pump Problem

Unable to remove the fuel pump push rod to restore to original. please help

Turn the crankshaft pulley using the appropriate socket size, this will bring the fuel pushrod out, when you install you heavy grease and turn the crank pulley to move the pushrod out of the fuel pump levers way,

Didnt mean to butt in, I didn't know if you had a fuel pump housing, usually small block or pipe plug, usually big block. I agree with Randico about bumping the engine.
