Will a defective modulator valve in a 350 the transmission make the engine miss in gear? It does not miss in park or neutral.

The valve will cause shifting issues and could make the car run rough if it sucks fluid in through the vacuum lines.

If you do not have neutral or park, the front clutch pack may be seized making the car want to continue forward in p and n.
