I have a 1971 Camaro 350 cu in engine, 350 auto transmission. It starts and runs perfect in park and neutral. when I put it in gear, it misses and runs rough. any ideas?

if this hasn't been modified, then check your grounds, you should have a ground strap running from the right head to the firewall. If you don't and it's an automatic it will burn up your trans cable. but check your points for dwell and plug wires. Also check for a vacuum leak, if it's a rochester 4 barrel it's common for them to have an internal vacuum leak.

or its a distributor problem. you might be a tooth off or you timing is bad
