Car was running and driving a week ago. Now when you start it will run for a minute then begins to push gas out of the top of carberator. Changed the carberator still does the same thing. Acts like it stops getting fire. Figure it wouldnt start at all if the points were bad. Could it be the Coil? Cant figure it out.

High float level or too much fuel pump pressure will cause this

new or used carb?

Used carb. It working fine on other engine. So maybe fuel pump?

Thanks. Float and needle not moving properly derbis had got in carb holding needle open.
