How do I remove the starter? I can get to the bottom bolt but do not know how to get to the top bolt.

we dont' have info on soemthing that old. you may need a universal type socket to reach the bolt or it may come in from the backside. take that one off first so starter doesn't fall and hurt you when removing it. you might try a longer extension with a socket to go past starter as well.
