I am replacing the power window motors on my 1968 Ford Thunderbird. I started with the driver's side front door. I am able to remove the interior trim panel. With the panel removed, I can see part of the power window motor. I cannot see or feel any hardware holding the motor in place. Also, I am not sure how to separate the motor gear from the window regulator.

On this to get that motor out you have to pull the back seat and the whatever side yu are replacing the panel as well. It will go all the way around to about halfway behind the top part of the back seat so that needs to be pulled out as well. Then just take the motor out. It is held in by 3 bolts if memeory serves me right. You may have to pull the window regulator out with it, it should unbolt from the window.
