AC Kicks on when heater's on

I had the heater and AC revamped a couple years ago but recently, the AC will cycle when the heater's on, sending cold air out the vents. All the settings are llaced at heater and warm, all the cvaccum hoses are in position. Any ideas?

Revamped? What does that mean? Is it the original system with original controls?

Original system, original controls. It was working fine. Ac blows cold, heater was very hot. Now, there's warm air comjng out IF I disconnect the AC. If the AC is connected, the compressor suddenly turns on despite the switches being on heat and warm. If I ut it to cold, the air will be significantly colder.

But the end result is if its on heater and on warm, the ac kicks on and oushes cold air out.
