1966 Ford Fairlane Repair Question

I have a 66 ford fairlane 500 ..when you turn the key it cranks but wont stop cranking i changed the cylinoid and still does it but if i tap the cylinoid it stops not sure what else to try
Not sure what to check next..i have eletronic ignotion..and i have changed the ignition switch

Hi:
I don't have access to any wiring schematics for this year. However, it sounds like something is not wired correctly. Double check wiring at starter.
