The battery went dead in my mother in laws car yesterday and when I replaced the battery the car started fine. Now there is a clicking noise and the parking thru drive icon is flahing depending what position you have it in. When you trun the car off and remove the key it keeps clicking for 10 to 15 seconds then stops. I have undone the battery and I have even touched the 2 connectors together still clicks and flashes. I tought it might have something to do with an anti security feature but the manual for this book states it doesn't have one.

Hi mike8305,

Seems like there is some grounding fault.

Check if the battery terminals are clean, ground cable to body and trans is good.

Thanks for the advice. I found out today this car used to have a key remote for the doors. Found that and pushed button and it reset the anti theft. Problem fixed.
