I have a 1996 Honda Civic that I just replaced the head on. I made sure timing marks were lined up and top half in the up position before putting on timing belt. New plugs and wires also. Tried starting it and it some what tried to fire but I have never been able to get it to run. Any ideas on what I can check?

I have spark and I have compression. All 4 cylinders were between 110-125 on pressure. Fuel pressure good also. I tried moving distributor for timing but no difference. When I tried to give it gas while starting it backfired through intake.
