My boyfriend did a tune up on my car and now it wont start. I went out and moved a couple wires around and it started up but ran rough. And could smell my screaming dreaming coil pack start to burn. So I am convinced that it is the wires in the wrong order. And hopefully it hasn't messed up my coil pack.

The firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6. The right hand diagram is the 3.8s cylinder layout as viewed from the front of the vehicle. The lower block is the ignition coil layout for the wires. Hope that helps.

Hi,

No problem.

I attached pics below. The first one shows the firing order and cylinder location. Pic 2 shows the coil and which connector goes to which cylinder. Pic 3 is a general overview of replacing the wires.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
