My car started making a knocking sound so I took it to my mechanic. He said that since there wasn't enough oil that uh somehow my crankshaft got all messed up. He said it had something to do with one of the rods. I'm not good with cars but a friend of mine is and he said that there should be a temporary quick fix that would be way cheaper than replacing the engine. I was wondering how I would go about doing that. If there was a way to just repace the bearings in the crankshaft so that it wont throw a rod.
