Engine Mechanical problem
2002 Volvo S60 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 32,000 miles

After I carry a heavy load (300lbs +) in the rear of the car, the car will not start or even turn over (electrical works, but no noise from the engine) after it is unloaded. This is now happing even with no load, just after filling up the tank with gas. I can get the car to start, if I rock the car back and forth 3 or 4 times. It seems like the starter and the fly wheel are mis-alligned when the car is shut off and a heavy load is in the rear. I do think I can hear a slight click when I rock the car back and forth. Then the car starts normally again. My wife thinks I am putting the car in park and turning it off too fast in combination. I doubt that since we have owned this car since new and this is a new problem. No accidents or flooding have ever happened to this car. Volvo mechanic is baffeled.

Do you
have the same problem?
