I have an 05 volvo S40 T5 AWD, 33000 miles. It's a great car, never had a problem. Tonight something started squeaking so I immediately thought it was the belt. Sprayed that with silicon spray, still squeaking. Apparently i'm deaf and it's coming from the middle of the engine. It's a high pitched constant squeak when the engine is idle even if it is in gear. The squeaking stops whenever I put my foot on the accelerator, but still squeaks when I brake. I would really not like to have to take this in to the dealership, so if someone could help that would be wonderful!
