I have a 1990 740 wagon, 140K miles, non-turbo. Following intermittent starting problems, the fuel pump was replaced in June 07. Following this, the fuel gauge began reading inconsistently. The gauge would not read immediately (would slowly drift to readings after ~ 15 minutes). Also, the car " ran out of gas" with fuel gauge reading low, but would only take 10 gallons of gasoline (16 gallon tank).

Also, vehicle has had intermittent starting problems. Will sometimes not turn over (all dash lights/radio go on). Will start fine minutes later. Codes currently showing 123, 321, 223 (just replaced ECT sensor, and codes reappeared almost immediately). Earlier this summer had 143, 232, 121, 321, 122. Dealer replaced MAP sensor, plugs & cable, distributor arm & cap.

Don't know what to do, feel like I am running out of options. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
