Transmission problem
1987 Volvo 240 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 200000 miles

Hello, I wrote ystrdy asking about the heater blower motor in my 1987 Volvo wagon. I thought it was a loose connectn, as you told me. You then told me a pretty lengthy descriptn of how to locate it. Well, lo & behold, all my boyfriend had to do was pull that cover back on driver's side b4 transmission, and he accidentally discovered it indeed was a loose connection! Hallelujah! We now have heat blowing again! Just wanted to say thanks!
One more question - my wagon originally was a 5-speed stick shift that was changed to an automatic. The stick has an OD button on the side that doesn't seem to do anything. Is it possible to have OD in this situation? Help again please!
I'm still going to make a donation tomorrow on payday. I appreciate ur help!
Sincerely, kitzygirl72
