Transmission problem
1986 Volvo 240 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 310000 miles

I replaced the trans with a rebuilt one. All was well. Over time the cable from the tranny to the accelorator throttlebody has loosened up. Developed slack to the point that the cable is 1/2" slacked. The tranny does not shift out of 2nd gear. Although if you mannually go through each of the gears it will change. I don't know where this cable is connected in the tranny. I know I needed to adjust it initally to get it to shift properly. I now can not. Whats up?
