I had my alternator replaced nine months ago. The one they installed failed after 4 months. After some denial that there was even a problem, the shop replaced it but now the replacement alternator has failed again. The mechanics said the warranty is good from the original purchased date, not the date of the replacement. Does this seem accurate? Or do they just not want to deal with the problem?
