The dealer may have update flashes. They hook the scan tool up and insert the disc. If it has an update option it is needed. It may or may not be a recall, they should check for them before anything else. Sometimes the software issues don't show up immediately, I seem to recall purge valve intermittant malfunction. Take it to the dealer. I will look into that.

While filling up the car it vibrated and shut off. Later, while driving the car started to slightly vibrate. Soon the rpms and speed started to decline. Maintaining 4,000 rpms kept the car alive and anything below that it would die again. Once we started it back up again, when flooring the gas, the car barely sped up and thrusted forward every 6-7 seconds from then on. Was able to do about 60, 70 or 80 as long as 4,000 rpms were maintained. Once we drove over a pothole the problem ceased, only to return soon after. What do you think the issue is?

First of all it is a no no to fill up your car while it is running, that will set an automatic engine code, and the computer will think there is a leak in the fuel vapor or return system, and you failed to mention in your description if you have an engine light on. I will need to those things to further assist you.

I'm wondering now What kind of maintenance you've done to this vehicle? And how you've been taking care of it, do you run premium fuel? Or do you run regular fuel? When you start your vehicle you wait for the computer to boot up before starting? Or do you just turned the key and starter right up? Have you ever used any injection cleaner? I believe the setting of the code may have just been consequential, what I'd like you to do is get some Chevron Textron injection cleaner put it in your tank, make sure you run only premium fuel, drive it for a little while, reset the code and see if it happens again.
