I have a 1993 Jetta that has white smoke coming out of it when it is up to temp in idle. It will not pass an emmisions test also. I am not losing coolant. I have replaced the ECU, coolant temp censor, cat, and muffler. Is it possible that there is water in the exhaust. I bought it from a wreaker. There didnt seem to be any white smoke before I put on the new exhaust parts. Is there anything that could be causing this. Is it just steam or something more serious?
have the same problem?
