Engine Cooling problem
2000 Vauxhall Vectra Front Wheel Drive Manual 74000 miles

my 00 1.8sri vectra seems to be running a little high in normal driving conditions it sit at about 97/98 and when idiling it goes into the red then the fan cuts in is their anything I could do to prevent this from happening I would be really gratefull if you could come up with a sollution for this even though it is not a major problem?

Check the coolant level is orrect. Also check thermostat is working correctly.
