Had problems with alternator and battery I replaced both. The car ran great no issues all the way to a friends house across town. When I got there turned the car off it would not start back up turns over but will not start. Can hear the fuel pump kick on and has great pressure at the fuel rail. Replaced crank sensor and coil pack thinking fire maybe the issue no fuses are blown. Not sure what would make it not start just all of a sudden like it is.

Have you checked for spark? Have you read the diagnostic fault codes? Do you know how to do that yourself? If not, cycle the ignition switch three times from "off" to "run" within five seconds without cranking the engine, leave it in "run", then watch the code numbers show up in the odometer display. Tell me what you find.

Do you have the dual or single-cam engine?
