1988 Toyota Corrolla:Maybe Someone can help me with my car troubles. Here is what I have experienced and yet no help to solving it or shall I say no LUCK. I was driving my car one day and my Brake and Battery lights came on. Car was not acting funny at all, temperature was fine and all fluids were fine. Car crunk fine the next day ran ok all day except for the two lights still being on. That night I noticed my Radio wouldn't stay on and my lights were so dim I could not see the road. The next day my car had a little problem getting started, the two lights still on, later that day it wouldn't start at all. Replace the alternator because In between all of that someone took off the negative side of my battery and the car went dead, so that was the solution. Tried to crank my car wouldnt start once again. Had my car jumped off, it crunk but went dead in less than 2 mins. Another person had told me that my battery terminal was to thin to hold the charge of the battery, but they no longer make the terminals to be replaced on the older car. I havent tried another battery, but when the car had crunk with the old one for the brief time the battery and the brake light were still on. What could this be? Am I on the right track? And is there something that could go around the terminal just to get my car moved if that is what the problem is?
