1968 Toyota FJ-40 V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual 100 miles
I have a 1968 Toyota Landcruiser. 100 miles on a fresh rebuild. The cruiser was rebuilt on a k-5 blazer frame to increase width etc. In doing this the Speedometer cable was unable to reach the new position of the original tranny. Therefore I have a non-working instrument cluster, all gauges are inactive. I have added an aftermarket fuel and temp gauge. My question is can I splice an identical speedo cable with my current one in efforts to increase its length? Is it possible? What would be an alternative if this is not functional? Thanks.
have the same problem?
