I drive a Toyota Corolla station wagion. It has 263,000 miles. The transmission is a 5-speed and it is starting to slip. How much can I expect to pay for a new clutch?

It really depends on where you take it. The hourly average for a front wheel drive car is around 8-10 hours so whatever the labor rate is in you area multiply that by the number of hours plus the cost of the parts. You can probably expect to pay between 700-1000 dollars to have the job done.
