I have a 1997 corolla with 170000 miles, It has a multiple cylinder misfire, and I have changed all the plugs, wires, the coil, the distributor cap, and the fuel filter. I really dont want to take it to the shop, I would like to know some other quick tips or part fixes to try. Thanks

Could be caused by one of the following below:

1. Defective spark plug
2. Inadequate spark/coil, defective spark plug wire.
3. Lack of compression
4. False air leakage.
5. Faulty fuel injectors.
6. Insufficient fuel pressure.
7. Contaminated fuel.
8. EGR valve that is leaking.
9. Oxygen sensors.
10. Throttle position sensor.
11. Idle air control valve.
