While possible it is unlikely. Try spraying starting fluid in intake, if engine runs a few seconds, then it is a fuel problem. If not, check spark by grounding plug (wire connected) to valve cover bolt, look for a snapping blue spark.

ECM failure will cause ECM to go into "limp" mode, where ECM runs engine off a preset instruction algorithim, It will BARELY run, but should run to get you to a garage.
