1996 Camry -- Front Brakes Lock

I live near a coast area -- salt atmosphere. My 128k mile Camry most recently had a leak in a brake line - I think due to corrosion. When the leak occured -- I pushed the brake pedal to "floor". I have had that line replaced. After driving maybe another 40 miles miles, the front brakes locked, with a noticceable smell from both brakes. There was no problem with the rear brakes.

Any suggestion as to what could cause this new problem -- brakes locking?

Both sides are locking? Jack the front loosen the master from the booster, I want to see if you have a mster cyl compenating port might be plugged, Make sure the brakes are in the locked position before you start. If the wheels spin replace the master, if they don't, open the bleeder on the caliper, if wheel spins replace hose, if it stays locked replace caliper!
