Engine Performance problem
1990 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My car has problems starting in warm weather when it has sat in the sun or the engine has been running and it doesn't have time to cool before I start it again. If the engine is given time to cool, it then starts again. I'd appreciate any ideas you have about the problem.

When trying to start it warm does it turn slower or cranks at normal speed just wont turn over?

What if you were to administer starting fluid down throttle body when trying to start the vehicle.

If I hold the the in the start position it starts, it just takes about an extra 10-12 seconds. If the engine is really warm it won't turn over until it has had a chance to cool.
