I have a 2002 Toyota 4Runner 74,000 mi. The problem with my air conditioner is that it only works during cool weather conditions. It starts blowing luke warm air when the temperature starts heating up. Before the weather started cooling down we took it in and the freon was low. So they suggested refilling it and putting a dye into the system to check for any leaks. We refilled the freon and they put the dye in the system and couldn't find any leaks. At that time we relocated to another state. Once we got settled in we took it to a repair shop, but they couldn't find anything wrong when they did their diagnostic check. They suggested a flush of the system but couldn't guarantee that it would fix the problem. I'm hesitant to do the flush since the system works during cool weather. Which leads me to assume that there is not something clogging or blocking the system. Any ideas?
have the same problem?
