Engine Cooling problem
1999 Toyota 4Runner V8 Two Wheel Drive
I recently added anti-freeze to my 4runner over flow tank. Three days later, I pull in my drive, put it in park and there is steam & anti-freeze everywhere. When it cooled, I found that the transmission cooler hose that connects to bottom of radiator had broken or blown out of the radiator. Not sure if this was the cause, or the affect of some other problem I filled up the radiator with water and kept the water going in. I had my wife start the truck and it was good for about twenty seconds. It then began to make a sqealing noise so she shut it off. I know I need to replace cooler but not sure what else. THANKS !
have the same problem?
