My car began to shake really badly. The next day the check engine light came on. It would shake and stumble and the light would be on, then out of the blue it would run fine. Then my check engine light would come on again. When it was scanned it said that the 2nd cylinder was misfiring. Changed coils, spark plugs, wires, and oil, and oil filter. The light went off temporarily but then came back on. Not sure what else to do. I've spent alot of money and so far the problem is still there. Anyone who has seen this problem before I would appreciate your input. Oh yeah. Pretty sure I need a catalytic convertor. However I have no idea if that would cause only one cylander to misfire.

Could be your injector. Put a stetoscope on it and if it's not clicking like the other injectors when the enging is running it is either the injector or the electrical to it. If you can get to the injector, you can test the electrical impulse with a "Noid" light.
