My 87 Samurai intermittently will not start. It just clicks. Then it will start normally most of the time. The odd thing is that when it won't start, I can jump start it and after charging for a second it fires right up. The old alternator was only putting out 13 volts so I replaced it and it starts MORE frequently but still not completely consistently. Could it be the ignition switch even though jump starting it ALWAYS fixes the problem?

I don't have an answer but I do have the same problem with my 1992 Suzuki Sidekick.
Did you ever fix your problem and what did it turn out to be?
